Put yourself on your ‘to do’ list!

What if you could wake up every morning with exuberant expectations for the fullness of your life?  What if you were at the top of your ‘to do’ list?

For so many, the day’s list doesn’t look that way.  Making a list of things to accomplish, we check them off as they get done, which feels good except some days end and we never did anything for ourselves except maybe guiltily grab a candy bar on the run or spend a few extra minutes to take a deep breath in the bathroom.

The day fills up, time passes and then in the evening, too tired to do more, the TV or computer goes on and days become nights, weeks and months pass and the things we always wanted to do, never seem to happen.  For many, dreams die with them.

What we truly desire continues to be put on the back burner. The people who would love time with us or the project that would take us to our deepest dreams are laid aside because other things become the priority.  Not only have the days passed by, life seems to have slipped through our hands.

That’s not how we want the story to end, is it?  Taking time to re-imagine your life, what would be your fairy tale ending? Think possibilities.  What would you love to have, do or be that’s not on the list currently? f you had all the money you needed, no responsibilities and time to do it, what would your list look like then?

You may be thinking, but that’s not the way things are for me. I have way too much on my plate. What if you could make room for one delicious slice of time each day or even each week?  It could change the course of your life so that you’d wake up and say, “I love my life!”

You deserve to be happy.  Put yourself at the top of your list.

Today, ask yourself where you are on your list of to do’s. If you don’t find yourself there, put one small thing you can do to make time for you.
